The girl's statement was a peculiar one he questioned, "A merman? Would one really be kept in an aquarium?" Well that was a fairly pointless questions, of course not or if so it would hardly be there for long, or so the solosis thought.
It was during this line of thought that Rhys noticed the other's attentions turn for a moment and he couldn't help but turn and look behind him to come face to face with a rather frightening octillery that pressed against the glass watching the pair, or was it the girl. The octillery had an enamored look and with a moments study of Ilitah he could admit that she was one to be considered attractive, but the octillery was a little creepy and it seemed wise to continue touring the aquarium rather then linger near this tank. No matter how amusing the octillery's attempts to look, was it cute? Well no matter.
"Would you like to continue along, I've heard there are many water pokemon in the aquarium and I'd like to see more. I could accompany you?" The last was posed as a question, wondering if the girl would be embarassed to come along.
