Hmmm for critique, perhaps put more shading on his skin, where the pumpkin is. In light source terms, the pumpkin's shadow should cover more of his hind legs and express more dark colors on your broomstick and the pumpkin x3. Overall, it looks great 8]. What program did you use?
I used MS Paint, at the moment that is all I really use, but I'm practicing with Photoshop and Gimp.
